Worship: A Purposeful Action
Orthodox Christian worship engages all the senses and holds a life-changing beauty that moves the heart, mind, and soul. Our prayers, chanting, choral music, and beautiful symbolism guide and direct our spiritual vision toward one direction—the Person of Christ. He is the center of our lives, and His love inspires and solidifies the bonds of our community. In worship, we take holy action: with great love and conviction, we enter into a relationship with Him, a relationship that is nurtured and grown each day of our lives.
Visitors are always welcome to worship with us! If you’re new to St. Demetrios, please sign our guestbook, and introduce yourself to Fr. Nick following Liturgy. They’ll be pleased to answer questions about our faith and speak with you about our liturgical life and ministry programs.
